Saturday December 18th The Heppner Outreach Council is hosting their Nightlight Parade and Snowball Drop

 

Saturday December 18th  The City of Heppner is hosting a dedication ceremony for Thomson Square, Mexican Hot Chocolate will be served courtesy of Tacos Hometown

 

 

The Heppner Chamber of Commerce will be having an All Ages Coloring Contest for local artists, pre-k to adult. Pick up your coloring pages at the Chamber office or at the City Hall lobby and return them to the Chamber office by December 13th. Winners will be chosen at the Chamber Event at the fairgrounds on the 16th by the public.

 

The Heppner Chamber of Commerce is also holding a Christmas Home Decorating Contest

Participants must live inside the Heppner City limits so our judges can find your home.

Names and Street addresses must be sent to the Chamber by December 13th to be entered for judging.

Judging will be held December 14th

There will be a prize for First Place,but there may be an Honorable Mention if there is a close decision by the judges that gets bragging rights.

Categories for Decorating:

Victorian: Old Fashioned, traditional and nostalgic Holiday display

Clark Grizwold: Excessive use of lights and decorations

Crazy inflatables: Must have three or more inflatables to qualify
